Critical analysis of matters of political economy and the public policy that governs it is at the heart of Perspectives’ editorial mission and we are committed to bold ideas and rigorous debate that reverse inequalities and reflect the diversity of experiences that exist in communities across Canada and around the world. This informs our editorial decisions and practices, including considerations relating to sourcing, language-use and visuals.
We apply the same principles to our own contributors as well. We are committed to taking proactive steps to create opportunities and provide a platform for critical analysis from underrepresented communities. Perspectives as a journal of political economy and strategy dedicated to building and winning a better world will actively work to ensure that points of view at the intersection of class, gender, race, and other indicators of today’s social strata are brought to the forefront of critical discussion.
