Ksenia Stepkina

Ksenia Stepkina (she/her) is a community-engaged researcher, community development practitioner, and grassroots organizer based in Kitsilano,
Vancouver, BC, on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and
səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Originally from a small town in Siberia, Ksenia brings a deep commitment to building connected, caring,
and civically engaged communities in urban settings. She champions the idea of neighbourhood democracy through her professional role at the
Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC and as the founder of Good Neighbour Kitsilano, a resident-led initiative that aims to nurture
neighbour-to-neighbour connections and inspire grassroots action for a more resilient and inclusive community.
